Please convince me that I would look redonkulous in these boots:

Sorry, you're asking the wrong people. I think you'd look great in those! OFFICE MONKEYS GOTS STYLE TOO!

Hey! Those look like my boots: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7259652/c/3.html

So I think they would look awesome on you! I have muscular calves and they look fine in that style of boot. I'm not much help, am I?

Those boots are kickass! I'm totally jealous! Next time you come across some cool boots or shoes, you have to share! :P

I remember those boots! Lovely. I would wear them with an empire-waisted wool frock-coat all the dang time.

Sidebar: I've been enjoying the evolution of your default user pic.

Dood, large calves are not a reason not to wear hot boots, in fact I would say the opposite is probably true. If your calves fit in them, go for it! And be glad you don't have the ridiculous little toothpick calves I have, because I can't even wear 99% of the boots out there because they all fit like galoshes on me. :P

Coveting calves is the new hair coveting. Ex: I have stick straight long black hair and "natural" calves... but want wavy auburn tresses and your toothpick calves!

No help from me... they are perfect for your postmodern urban-guerrilla-masquerading-as-an-office-monkey self.

And I have big/muscular calves from years as a distance runner, and tall boots make them look longer and leaner. So there.

I think you've convinced me. My own badonkadonk calves are a product of genetics, ballet, and all that biking (most likely... oh and cheese.).
