I think I'm coming down with a cold.

The last time I had a cold was almost exactly a year ago.

Urgh. It's time for some bullet points.

I, too, am trying to not-diet but eat better. I got several lovely kitchen items to aid me in my efforts. The rice cooker with steamer tray option is made of awesome, as is this awesome and gorgeous wok with steamer tray option (that my in-laws got from Harris Teeter, collecting those coupons!). Tonight I made, in the bottom of my wok, Naked Quorn Cutlets, with a bit of olive oil, water, baco bits (hey, they really aren't that bad!), lemon slices, garlic, and lemon/pepper spices. On the tray I spread out a bunch of asparagus to steam with some more lemon and tiny sliced tomato. I also made mashed potatoes with a *touch* of sour cream and cheese, but we'll just forget about that, shall we? :D Damn it was good though. Nom nom nom. Good luck on your healthier diet! :)

Oh, and my brother insists that Baco Bits are completely vegan!

They are vegan! And have more protein than fat! And taste more bacon-ey than Morningstar bacon! I lurve them.

I hope you feel better soon. :) I already paid my due--two colds back-to-back this winter. Bleargh.
