Oh, don't get me wrong, I actually like the blond dummy, and it's perfectly understandable that after all that happened Gaara would hold him in high regard (heck, if someone saved my life I would talk about them nonstop as well). It's just so frustrating that the whole plot is centered around Naruto: "go save the world, Naruto, and we'll back you up - we'll stand here all patient but worried while you fight the foes!"

Well, manga is not so bad, but anime, especially the filler episodes (the "Rescue the student" arc) hell in a handcart it's pathetic! And the movie! I admit it was marvelous to see Gaara dissolve into sand and get carried by the wind, but they made him observe the fight from afar! Observe! *shakes a fist* I was torn between laughing and crying. Sorry about that rant, I couldn't help myself.
