D: It is. No wonder he wanted to change it. And it sticks out So Much in the text. It draws the eye because it's so long (and, you know, I haven't been using names whatsoever so it sticks out when a name is used in general. XD;;) and exotic.

Lantis Ilyushin is just wow. Huh, but he does have a "shin* in there. I wonder if that had anything to do with his new name, or did he just like the sunshine, or did his name mean something to do with the sunshine? I don't remember. XD; But it does sound quite exotic!

Would that work in Chinese? He doesn't say anything when Lan wonders if he named himself Sunshine because he wanted to see real sunshine, but Lan was being impulsive at that point, so could have interupted him. XD
