Some of you know that I'm trying to be professional writer. I've written things, sent them off, and been soundly rejected every time. BUT NO FEAR I keep trying and my writing is impoving by leaps and bounds. It's why I've fallen off from fandom squee, and I miss it.

Nope. They said I was 'too literal' which is interesting because the excerpt I got had a person that spoke in a very particular way and I kept that instead of changing it to sound more like how everyone else talks, because she didn't talk like that. Oh well, there's always another opportunity...

Nope. It's just on FB and it's set up kind of confusing. I'm number 13 of 14. On one hand, I'm lucky number thirteen, on the other hand, people have to flip through twelve other entries to even see mine.

Hello hello! I am, it's a hard slog but I'll do it eventually, even if I don't win this. Thanks for voting, it bumped me back up into second place and only a few away from first. You're awesome.
