I'm a bit "older" than you in one way in that I discovered BtVS fanfic in 2001 and set up my nom de courriel a year or so later. OTOH shakatany is just a little over 5 years old. I started out in Spuffy then Spangel before finding out that Spander was my true passion - lucky you bypassing all of that *g*

I feel very lucky for bypassing Spuffy particularly. If I had randomly clicked on a Spuffy link instead of a Spander link, I shudder to think what might (and might not!) have happened.

And Angel... Well, I do enjoy Angel, but he just doesn't have the snarkiness that Spike does, and snark seems to be the magic ingredient when it comes to hooking me into new fandoms/pairings.

I do remember getting fb from you before you created your journal. Seems such a long time ago and yet still only yesterday.
