please note that my website is still a work in progress. I brought it to class today and had it "critiqued", which translates to "sean got burned alive in front of the class".

So yeah, expect plenty of changes in the next week.

I would be so scared of being peer critiqued with a design website because I'm so picky and I know everyone else would tear mine apart.

The professor is very picky, which i think is good since i like to know how to improve my stuff. Of course, her doing it on the giant screen in front of the class is not fun. Luckily the other students are all too busy chatting on aim or browsing the web to pay any attention.

Our minor critiques are usually relatively laid back and we let the instructor do most of the talking, though they always try to drag comments out of us by asking individual students specific questions about it. We're all friends though (for the most part) so with every negative comment we make we tend to follow it with a "but I really like the way s/he

Yeah, i'm taking out the blue background completely, and will just have the black text over the gradient that's there now. And everything is going to be a bit darker/greener. I'll have it fixed when i stop procrastinating, which should be soon. I hope.
