I've got a 32" HD LCD TV! All I need now is a DVI to HDMI wireless connection from my computer and my TV turns into a massive monitor. Failing that I’ll get a cable and bring my computer downstairs.

Major geeky happiness all round.

Using my 28" HDTV in 1280x800 mode almost makes me go cross eyed. I think a screen that big either needs to be at a very high resolution (1990xwhatever) or you need to sit back from it quite a bit to use it as a monitor.

Mine is a standard 1366x768, which is pretty much what most computer resolutions use (1024x768).

It should appear pretty much as I view this screen now only much much bigger and in widescreen.

That's my one's "native" resolution too, though I can't remember why my laptop could only output 1280x800 signal. I'm in the odd position that my laptop's display res is higher than my HDTV, so stuff actually feels smaller on the huge screen.
