Only vaguely related, but a friend of mine is apparently bffs with the Ricecookers, who did the theme song, and it's their first big break and I almost went with her to see them but it was at 10PM the night before thanksgiving or something and I had to travel (they were in NYC at the time, I'm not in Japan).

Um. Yeah. Sooo. After your post yesterday I might have downloaded the rest of the drama and watched it in a day.

Can't actually discuss at length, WHICH BRINGS ME GREAT PAIN, but have an early flight tomorrow and should probably be attempting to sleep now. So I'm just passing by to say - HELL YEAH, love the post. And you've basically wrote down and thought through in detail what I got the ending, so it's not like I would add anything other than nodding in agreement :D I almost don't want any continuation so that there won't be any opportunity to deny/change all this.

I had a totally wrong picture of Kezoku 2: SPEC, I thought it was mere police procedural.
I've watched the first season of Keizoku (or better, I've watched half) and didn't like it much, so I didn't bother watching the second season, especially since drama wiki does say anything about what you mentioned in your post.
IT SOUND AWESOME AND I TOTALLY DIDN'T KNOW!!!!! I WANT TO WATCH LIKE NOW!!!

BTW, as far as I can see only five episodes are subbed, did you watch the rest without subs?

It's so much more than a police procedural. Well, to be fair, it starts that way, but then it grows up and becomes a twisty delicious mystery thriller with ABSOLUTELY CRAZY PLOT TWISTS OMG.
