I'm not sure I can choose either - this show is deliberately torturing us with two best romance options around! This simply needs to end with OT3!

Or OT4, let's not forget Seo Joon! (It's quite possible that I might have to eat my words later, but I loved that she was not a crazy plotting stalker but a girl who just didn't get over Moo Kyul - and you could tell she really liked hanging out with his friends and asdhsjadf THEY ALL JUST NEED A LOT OF LOVE AND PUPPIES ♥)

Poor Seo Joon, I'm really starting to feel for her. I get the impression she was a friend of the band the way Mae Ri's BFFs were friends of the band (maybe even more? did she go to high school with them?) and then when Moo Kyul dumped her she suddenly didn't fit in with them anymore. I mean, how awkward would that have been?

Really, a happysquishy OT4 is the only option here that works for everyone. *nods*

I'm thinking maybe he didn't, y'know, REALIZE Mae Ri was Mae Ri. It wasn't until he saw the picture that he remembered her scar, for instance. He knew she was Wi Mae Ri from his childhood but didn't make the emotional connection that she was that little girl. You know what I mean?

I'm just guessing, though.

But he doesn't remember her (JI, I mean) - he said he didn't remember anything before he was 8 i.e. after his father moved to Japan (when Maeri was 4, as in the pic). I think the pic was taken before Mom's death and bizarro amnesia both JI and Maeri have is connected to Mom's death somehow. So I don't think he remembers being friends with her at all. At the end he certainly (to me) wasn't acting on Spring Waltz-like impulse, he was trying to court her so he could have her choose him at the end to get the funding/Dad's approval ( ... )

Yeah, but how likely is that? Mae Ri was four, it's understandable if she doesn't have any memories of being barely more than a toddler. But an eight year old? Really? He doesn't remember anything at all?

I'm thinking it's more likely that he doesn't want to remember, that he locked away whatever the hell happened to Mae Ri's mom and probably Mae Ri's existence too, but the picture brought something back. It was the look on his face -- he seemed a thousand miles away when he was reading the inscription. And Mae Ri obviously remembers it too, on some subconscious level, it wouldn't leave her alone the whole day.

Whatever's going on, I believe his feelings are feel. They're just murky and muddled and wrapped up in whatever happened 20 years ago.

Muhyul's Mom = argh. Is there a single decent parent in this drama?

Seriously, if they're not shameless opportunists they're god-like puppeteers. WTH?

I wanted to gag when the dads saw JI/MR piggybacking and looked so pleased with themselves.
