It's like they think they're in a kdrama!

I DEFINITELY THOUGHT THAT ABOUT THAT JEREMY/ELENA HUG. Like, dude, you need to stop stroking/CARESSING her back. I know Nina Dobrev is hot as hell but you are playing her brother and she has ample (and more awesome) love interests already without adding incest into the mix.

I loved Natsuki! ♥

LOLOLOL SAME.

MY THOUGHT PROCESS:

"Woah, you're pretty enthusiastic there, I know she just came back from terrible danger and all but...
...
...are you cradling her head?"

By the time I realized the back-stroking it was obvious it was McQueen who couldn't keep his hands off his fake sister. Lolololol forever. "I wonder if she'd notice if I just leaned in for a sniff..."

I'm so glad I'm not the only Natsuki fan! ♥

I hate/loved Natsuki. I loved her because she was an utter queen bitch, and totally kickass. How can you NOT love someone who is SUCH a bad girl, but fools EVERYONE because she's such an awesome liar. And manipulator. Can't forget all the manipulation.

I kinda hated her for the same reasons. Also because she was the typical secondary chick - not knowing what she had until it was gone, and then screwing over the other woman because she only wants what other girls have.

So yeah... love/hate.

Oh, but I didn't think she was typical at all! I think she actually had a really fascinating character arc in the background of all the Naoki/Riko stuff, mostly stemming from her identity conflict and her complicated feelings for Naoki and Yayogi and Utsu.

And yeah, BAD GIRL. The Minams of the world make them fresh and appealing by default. XD

I don't think SHE was typical, but I think the plotline was. I mean, it's always the secondary girl attacking the main girl because she wants her boyfriend back. I think I might be sick of all the girl-on-girl hate.
I did, in fact, like her storyline. I think it would have been better if they could have explored it a bit more, especially her feelings for Utsu. I would have liked to see how she reacted to him not being gay (she thought he was gay too, right? I forget now...), and her growing feelings for him.

I get SOOOO sick of the innocent good girl trope. Especially in jdramas.

Can't argue with that, I wish she'd gotten more screentime too. ): Especially in the end when they obviously ran out of obstacles for the OTP and were just throwing shit out there to keep them apart. CELLPHONES AREN'T ALLOWED IN VOILIN TRAINING CAMPS...

I'm far more concerned about the Jeremy/Bonnie nonsense they're gearing up for. DON'T DO IT, BONNIE. DON'T.

I loved for Natsuki for not beating around the bush when it came to her sex drive. She didn't just deal with her frustration in passive-aggressive ways.

SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT. It's not just me, right? It came out of nowhere?

NO, IT DID. It's not like Bonnie doesn't have any other more interesting storylines, so I'm guessing they just didn't have anything for Jeremy to do.

I was especially skeeved out by the "I'm all grown up now" line. Whatever, Jeremy.

I... I have to admit, I'm not opposed to Mr. Grown Up Jeremy With The Hot New Hair and Vampire-Slaying Purpose in Life.

I just went "bwuh??" at all the sudden Bonnie/Jeremy bonding, especially since it's only been, what, a couple months since Jeremy was willing to kill himself for one girlfriend thanks to the delayed grief of losing the other?
