I AM CRAZY IN LOVE WITH ICONIQ. Apparently she used to be in a cutesy garden-variety kpop girl group, but then she moved to Japan, shaved her head, and remade herself as a bombshell. UNFFFFFFFFFF.

Huh, I thought she was a Korean who was debuting in Japan, but she's actually a 3rd generation zainichi Korean, first language Japanese and all that, according to her Japanese wiki page. She shouldn't have any problem then!

W-well, it's a mini-picspam compared to my normal picspams. XD I could only find a small handful of photoshoots at all, she only debuted in Japan this year.

She did used to be huge back when she was in a girl group. When she tried going solo, it was a bit lukewarm. She did put out a korean cover of Cutie Honey, but it was a little weird to hear her sing/speak because her Korean isn't that great from having grown up in Japan. She did ise that as a bit of a joke at times on tv.

But the new switch is doing wonders for her. SHe looks so much gorgeous with the haircut.

Yeah, it's definitely a look that works for her. I saw that Cutie Honey PV and it was... not exactly stellar. XD I barely recognized her in her old group, either. Her new sophistication is a great change.
