I HAVE FINISHED TSUKI NO KOIBITO.

It took me three hours and some alcohol, but by god, I've done it!

I just didn't have it in me. I don't know how long the finale was in realtime but it came out to twelve parts on viikii. A recap would've been murder. D:

Jesus, that's longer than most movies I watch. No wonder so much of the finale was devoted to everyone sitting against windows silently contemplating their problems.

This drama made me so bitter. All the ingredients were there for a delicious souffle, and then Asano Taeko came stomping through the kitchen and it all collapsed. :(

I wish we'd gotten the story we were promised in the first few eps. Rensuke the soulless company president and Xui Mei the sexy foreigner turned vengeful seductress. I would've watched the hell out of that.

It's easy: someone locked Asano Taeko in a bathroom, went through the final draft of the script and removed one of the characters' death scene, duh.

You know, I'm kinda disappointed Yuzu turned out to be so well-adjusted. I was counting on her for secondary girl crazy! Can you imagine how awesome it would've been if she'd pull an Innocent Love and locked Rensuke in a closet to seduce him through starvation threats?

It would be wonderful - and hopefully I wouldn't almost go into coma from boredom during the middle episodes :P Poor Yuzu, had so much potential for craziness! (But had to settle for having the most gorgeous hair - seriously, since I realized she would not go for the crazy, I just spent her scenes coveting her hair XD)

Heh, I'm so glad TnK is finished and we can just put this mess behind us and look forward to the new season. I mean, Kudo Kankuro with Nagase! Takeuchi Yuko and Matsujun! The new Amami Yuki drama, which doesn't sound that interesting to me, but then again I wasn't excited about BOSS until it knocked me over with the awesome!

Omg yes! Kitagawa Keiko is so pretty. She also has the amazing ability to look good in everything even when I'm thinking "you're too skinny, go eat a sandwich!" I want to feed her even as I get glazed eyes of shiny rapture from her modeling.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS SEASON. Did you know the Amami Yuki drama is written by Nojima Shinji? Him and Kudo in the same week! How will we deal??

Good thing they only gave her 8 episodes to burn. Imagine what she would have stuffed in there if she had more time to fill...! We would have had another BINGO for sure.

On the plus side, a draggy 2-hour finale only means one thing: A brand spanking new premier right around the corner. :DD I'm excited for the new season. KudoKan, Nojima Shinji? Yes, please! <3

Yes, yes, yes to all of those. Sakai Masato is one sexy man. I totally wanted to be one of his chupa chups in The Triumphant General Rouge. Can't wait!

I'm also already loving Hotaru No Hikari 2 even though I got bored of the first season after a few episodes and put it on indefinite hold. Mukai Osamu is SO much better than Hotaru's non-Buchou love interest in the first one. He's oh so cute, snarky and omg, actually wears shorts to the office! :O

I could never get into Hotaru no Hikari, but you're not the first person I've seen saying that about Osamu. Apparently he's quite the scene stealer?

Blah. I like Asano Taeko and I dropped this one in the middle and never regretted it. But then, I was in it only for plucky poor Chinese girl and her melting of Rensuke's cold cold heart - it was giving me faint memories of Silence, my favorite weepie drama with Vic Zhou :)

Ehhh, both this and Twitter idiocy were a waste of my time. Bring on the new season!

ETA: This reminds me I never finished Innocent Love due to the death of my external HD. Off I go to dl.

Augh, the twitter drama. I'm only so masochistic. I'll finish it if I ever feel like there's too much awesome in my life and I need a drama to bring me down.

You can skip to the last couple eps of IL without missing anything. That's when the OTP kicks in. :)

One of these days I will get you to watch Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake. It is delicious - have I ever led you wrong? :)

Takeshi Kaneshiro angsting in leather pants and a see-through white shirt, jumping off bridges, and deliberately having unprotected sex with AIDS victim to prove his love. Mm. This drama is one of the best things in existence.

Btw, did you get the PM with TO2 subs?

NOT DOING IT. I SWEAR OFF THIS WOMAN FOREVER. The only reason I got tricked into Tsukikoi is because I hadn't known she was writing it until I was already halfway through.
