ahahaha, so much of Xena flew over my head as a kid. I started a rewatch recently and WOW. Right now I'm stuck on the 4th season though, and I remembered this is when it gets weird and I don't feel like slogging through the Amazon underworld or whatever.

I DID THE EXACT SAME THING. I rewatched last year thinking "wow, this is really awesome and not as cheesy and outdated as I expected!" and then I got to S4 and... yeeeeeeeah.
