Bara no nai Hanaya: HATED IT. TERRIBLE DRAMA. DO NOT WATCH. I DIDN'T LIKE IT AT ALL. IT WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. The sky is green, and Arashi is straight. I'm not attracted to Shingo. Nagase is intelligent.
I meant it as a joke 'cos there were these naff Ferrero Rocher adverts but it's obviously translated well lol.
I DO know the synopsis of the drama yeah. SMAP fan here? :P You'll become one of us in time. I can wait... In the meantime my icon can stare at you and work its/their magic.
I'm confused about the Honey and Clover thing. Did they butcher your OT3 or something?
I'm not attracted to Shingo
Oh, Wolfie, you are so doomed. XD Before you know it, you'll be watching KimuTaku dramas and fangirling SMAP. (Incidentally, the "blind" girl from Bara no nai Hanaya was KimuTaku's love interest in Pride...)
I watched the first episode of Bara no nai Hanaya yesterday, and it was almost as subtle in its angst as Kurosagi, but the little girl is awfully cute and Shingo angsts well. I haven't decided yet if I want to watch more or not.
Also, yay for Honjitsu. I love that song, and the PV. (I was told that the geisha is Mabo, although I sure can't tell...)
It seems to be following canon so far, it's just that canon rips out my heart and stomps it to pieces when it comes to those three. ;__;

EVEN I HAVE LIMITS
Aw, you didn't love Bara no nai Hanaya (that really needs a namesquish) immediately? It had my heart from the first five minutes. Precious little girl! Photoshoots and ferris wheels! R-roadside flower oh my god.
I heard Mabo too, but I can't be sure. It -- it's definitely too hulking to be female. XD
Oh dear. Well, I look forward to having my heart ripped out and stomped on, in a rather apprehensive sort of way.
Did I mention Pride has Sakaguchi Kenji in it too? 0;-)
I guess I just have a heart of stone or something. It's cute, but there were too many Dramatic Emotional Pauses and stuff like that. If it had just been about the girl and her angst-ridden father, I probably would have liked it, but the other subplots didn't draw me in.
Well, if you eliminate Nagase (since he's in a bunch of scenes with the geisha) and any non-hulking members of TOKIO, that pretty much leaves Mabo, since Yamaguchi would probably look shorter next to Nagase (and would be even more hulking).
Most of it's from their backstory (which I don't know if the drama will go into), but Rika gets some heavy stuff later. I'd forgotten how much this series makes me clutch at things and wibble. ;__;

IT DOES NOT
Y-you're lying to me.

I actually liked the romance subplot until the reveal. XD I mean, I'm looking forward to how it'll play out, but I don't know if I can ship them anymore...
The only thing about Mabo is that you think someone from TOKIO would've mentioned it. XD
