Mass Effect Big Bang 2012 - Omega Dogs - Art Master Post

This is my art master post for the Mass Effect Big Bang 2012. I teamed up with the wonderful pluto (plutokitty on LJ) who wrote a terrific Vega/Cortez AU story called Omega Dogs which I did these illustrations for. You HAVE to check it out over in the Mass Effect Big Bang community here on LJ!

I tried to do something similar to inFamous' cutscenes but I ended up deviating from their art style quite a bit by using more detailed shading/lighting, etc (I'm still not sure whether that's good or bad). The ink and charcoal brushes used in these are self-made and I'm pretty proud of them because they are the first proper brushes I've ever made all by myself.

I hope you like them :). And if you do but haven't read the story yet, I strongly urge you to do so. It's one of the best ME slash fics I've ever read and I don't even normally read Cortez/Vega.
