I think I need to find a new hair stylist. The girl I go to now is pretty good, but the salon uses Aveda products, which are smelly and give me a splitting headache. I don't get my hair cut very often, so I pretty much forgot about that until I went and got my hair cut today

I'm of two minds about it. Part of me saw it coming a mile away and thought it was trite. The other part is all "Aw, he learned to love! Aw, baby!" So I guess on an artistic or critical level I thought it was a cop out that left things on a bit of sacchrine note, but on a "shut up brain, I'm trying to watch the movie" level I enjoyed it.

That is pretty much the reaction I had. Both side of it. Because I was like "..." and then I was all "omg. AWW." So, yeah. I read a review where the ending was the only complaint the reviewer had. I think that it didn't necessarily detract from the rest of the movie.

My favorite scene, though, is the final one we have with Eyal and Axel after Axel's done what Eyal couldn't do. I thought perhaps the movie could have (should have?) ended there. Because that summed it up quite nicely. But of course we know how I feel about happy endings. ;)

Yeah, that would have been a powerful place to end it. But I also enjoyed having it wrapped up so sweetly. I guess either way you sacrifice something.
