Doctor Who - Amy's Choice

That's it, this was the best episode for me from the season. I now have one that I prefer over The Eleventh Hour.
Simon Nye did something pretty daring with this episode by having the Dream Lord be a negative aspect of the Doctor but one that gave an exploration into him that the Valeyard never could.

I should've guessed it at the start with the critical mirroring of Eleven's dress sense and the way too personal knowledge of the Doctor up and leaving companions and not telling them everything. The reflection at the end? The Doctor made sure that Amy and Rory didn't see that.

Amy had a choice to make here and from the romantic perspective, she chose Rory. I think she made the right decision there but she's also not keen on giving up travelling in the TARDIS just yet either.

Scary oaps with alien eyes sticking out of their mouths. Second time we've seen eyes. Shades of the Atraxi much and this race were booted from their own planet as well.

Was it me or was there a lot of commenting on appearances/fashion this week? The constant jokes about Amy's pregnancy, Rory's hideous ponytail, the Doctor's attire and the fact that the Dream Lord had a ridiculous amount of costume changes as well for just one episode.

Never has the TARDIS looked so magical/creepy when covered in ice. It certainly made for one hell of a visual.

The acting in this episode was terrific but Matt Smith and Toby Jones so need a rematch. Yes, I want the Dream Lord to return, 10/10.
