Halfway through this series, only the continuously spiky banter with Violet and Isobel and Thomas's storyline are the only things really keeping this series afloat.
Couldn't agree with you more, but haven't they always been the most interesting characters to begin with?
I do want the murder to be solved, but if this leads to Bates going back to prison and more of Anna feeling responsible for whatever and being all sad and suffering, I'm not sure I'd be happy with that.
I never understood why men are so attracted to Mary. I certainly never liked her and i don't think I ever will.
I've always considered Edith more interesting, but, yes, I'm kinda done with her current story-line as well.
I also like the relationship between Mr Carter and Mrs Hughes, they're such a married couple. :)

Both the Edith and who killed Green thing are in need of resolving and sooner than later. Much as I enjoy the show, it's got a terrible habit of stretching storylines out longer than needed. Thomas's storyline is also pretty uncomfortable to watch at the moment. More Violet/Isobel scenes though, the better.
