Haven't gone back since it was cancelled, but I adored the x files back when it aired. That was one of the shows that come by every so often (for me) that hook you and draw you in. Some shows I watch for entertainment value exclusively, I have a handful of guilty pleasures; but ones like this go beyond that. Intelligent dialgue, complex characters and storylines. I suppose "Fringe" is the new x-files void for me, but I haven't seen that one in over a year if not more. Need to get back to it and see if it holds the same appeal it started with.

Nice to see on your list. Thanks Db :)

Oh, and for other characters you should have recommended, well that's tricky. It's your list. You should recommend who you like. But from the top of my head, I would have liked to have seen:

Kiefer Sutherland - 24
Nathan Fillion - Castle
Emily Rose - Haven
Hugh Laurie - House
Patrick Stewart or Michael Dorn - Star Trek Next Generation
Luke MacFarlane - Brothers and Sisters
Joshua Jackson or John Noble - Fringe
Someone from reality TV

Though you may have done some of those. Can't remember them all ;)
These posts were a lot of fun. Thanks!

Perhaps one day I'd dare to compile my own, maybe..... though it was much more fun reading yours.

That said, it wouldn't be as structured as a top 40 characters for me. It would be an ecclectic non objective list of people I am "drawn to", which can range from a host of things from relating to the character they play, being amused / entertained, finding them attractive, finding the character in some way stimulating, characters that make me happy to watch, or liking the actor for who they are as a person despite the role they play. Not sure what I'd call that. I reckon "actors I like" should cover it ;)

Enjoy your weekend,
