Dear Diary

Ghost died last night. He might have been a fish, but he was a fish with a big heart and a lot of personality. He's been on medication off and on for over a month. I tried diet changing and different waters, even a touch of aquarium salt. He had Tail Rot, which is a very bad thing for a fishy to get. I keep the aquarium very clean, my thought is ( Read more... )

I have this Avocado plant I grew from a seed. I hope it's not a plant, or at least not him.

Haha the mailman:

Aw that's so sad! *hugs* R.I.P. Ghost! :(

What should I do? 'Excuse me, I am the parent raising her.' or 'Perhaps you should show me the behavioral plan, considering I will be the one enacting it.' I'll figure something out. I have two weeks to do that before her next appointment.

Yes, definitely something like that, in a calm and assertive tone.

Thanks, he'll be missed. We had a funeral for him yesterday in the backyard. :)

Why is your mother even coming with you to these appointments?
I would lose her invitation and just go myself.

This was my thought, though I'm not quite sure of your exact situation with that, but if you're doing the vast majority of the parenting, then, maybe next appointment she shouldn't be invited to join you.

sorry about the fishy though :( I always hated sending mine off too :(

I can't see well enough to drive even with glasses. She drives us to the appointment. The city busses are non existent in my area.

I'm really sorry about Ghost. :(

Hmm, it's a tough thing with your mother. I get that it would be hard to find the right way but I think in this case, the most painless way would be to just say it as it is. You're the one he should be talking to and he needs to know that. It's not like you're telling him he's not allowed to talk to your mother at all but all the important advice and requirements should be directed at you.

I agree, Sims 4 is really lame. 3 was my favourite, closely followed by 2. 4 is just so...lame. Nothing ever happens, there's nothing to do and everything that was even the slightest challenge in 2 or 3 got cut out. Plus, I really miss the open world from 3 and toddlers. :(

I have just been unable to get excited about Sims 4, it's almost as if they went backwards with all the usual stuff taken out of it. That usual stuff was the reason I liked playing Sims in the first place.

I love toddlers! They are so cute when they walk in that little simmy way!

I loved Sims 2... and I loved Sims 3 but it was always very, very glitchy and it drove me crazy. Sims 4 is steadily growing on me... has some similarities to Sims 2 and not all of the open-world bugs and lag of Sims 3.

Sims 3 never glitched for me, but I don't have every expansion like I do in Sims 2. I keep trying to get into 4, it almost feels like a different game to me.
