Oooh, I had my wisdom teeth out about 500 years ago (impacted) ... isn't it a blast? Ugh.
I must say, you're a braver woman than me! I'm not sure I'd be keen to spend the money on airfares and then get told that I couldn't enter the country ... then again, if I was in a different situation (not perpetually skint with three kids LOL), maybe I would.
Random visa thought: If you need a holiday visa (which is about the only one I've NOT looked at *g*), wouldn't you get that here? If you got it here, and its all approved etc, are they they likely to say no when you're at the airport just off the plane?
Good luck with that one, anyway ... I've been looking at all of the rules and regulations as well, and YIKES. LOL.
Yeh my left jaw looks like Ive swallowed a golfball or something. Ouchies. Ive been chewing on my right side, and Im running out of pain killers. Boo.
I spoke to Jeremy about this whole visa drama, he said I shouldnt have a problem. Im going to make sure I have the necessary paperwork and have a good story/reason to stick with so they cant say, "Sorry go home".
If you were planning on a holiday over there, they can still refuse it when Im in Aussieland, or at any stretch of my journey (even in Malaysia Im sure). However if you were to go in your scenario, you'd be fine because Im sure you arent applying for the fiance/spouse visa like myself.
Its so nerve-wracking .. Id never plan on overstaying or doing anything illegal, but they make it so difficult that one could do so incidentally!!!
Thanks Jon :) you heard rightly..hopefully in just under a year I'll be a US citizen. In the meantime its loads of paperwork and headaches until I reach my goal.
I hope things are going a lot more swimmingly for you.
