:D i actually found and started watching it yesterday evening, and so far im not sure about it!
However my judgement may be based on Sookie, because she is annoying the hell out of me!
So far she is a very unappealling character very reminiscent of Bella from Twilight but with a dogs name instead of a normal one :L And does everyone from Louisiana speak like that??? What are your thoughts so far? xoxo

I love True Blood! I've been watching it since the second episode. If you start writing True Blood fanfiction, I will totally comment!

You know, I own and have read ALL the Sookie books...and of course, I tune in to HBO every Sunday night. We can definitely talk some Bill and Eric. I would also be LaFayette's "wingman" any day of the week! It's a great show, and the book series is wonderful! They are, however, quite different! You should check them both out!

Yeah, is Tara even in the books? I had read the first one before the series came out, and she isn't in it. I don't know if she comes in later.

Tara is in the books later on...but the character is so completely different, I'm not sure you could even count it. Same way with Sookie. I think book Sookie and TVshow Sookie are two different people...

I think it starts on telly here in tea and biscuits land this week. I must try and catch it...I was starting to have too much non-fandom time anyway :/
