[the video feed shows Crow wandering aimlessly around the Ilex Forest. The one holding the PokeGear is obviously Black Lance the Murkrow, who's currently being completely ignored by his trainer, so he decided to record his peculiar behavior, hoping somebody else could help him. Alas, Crow pays no attention to his efforts. Instead, you can hear him

[ Byrne's been keeping Kay awake when her own efforts have flagged, but she's more than aware that sleeping is the worst possible thing to do in this situation. Johan - all the people on the network - are proof of that. Kaito's missing. And so when she realizes Crow has also disappeared, she's sending out her Gengar to find him and dashing off with Byrne in tow.

That yell is a big help, so two minutes later-- ]

Crow!! [ she-- very nearly trips over him. ]

[he turns around at his name being shouted... and, well, the girl nearly running into him. He blinks... and springs up, glaring angrily at her.]

YOU!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THEM?!

[ ... goddammit, she's still smarting from the last round of a close friend hallucinating. ]

[screw dueling, if she's responsible for what happened to his kids - which he's convinced she is - then she doesn't even deserve a chance to defend herself. He grabs her wrist tightly and pulls her forward.]
