Been watching lots of Dirty Jobs recently on DVD.
I really, really love this show. Dunno why, maybe cuz it make me feel better about my job. Also, Mike Rowe is hawt.

My co-worker just told me that she is making an almond cookie with maraschino cherries bits mixed in the batter topped with milk chocolate stars. A fat ninja* just may have to go and steal some cookies tonight,

Urgh, it has been a bad week, but dinosaurs apparently will cheer you up
The signficant other just showed me a dinosaur documentary that featured T-rex (or T-reges if you like your Latin with declensions) sexy ticking each other with their tiny, tiny, tiny arms. I can't even begin to say how much I love this manga. Love it to itty-bitty, beautifully drawn pieces. Love all of the characters, except for Viscount Campbell, who I am sure you're so supposed to hate ( Read more... ) -
Gardening and such
Going to try and overwinter the basil, thyme, mint, and oregano in the house.
Also order some microgreen seeds mixes and am hopeful that they will sorta help supplant a teeny-tiny little bit of fresh produce throughout the winter.
Taking apart the back bed and hoping against hope it isn't too, too late to plant winter kale. -

Rick Yancey, you have started off your new tale of Will Henry and the Monstrumologist with a shower of flesh falling down on a farmland in Kentucky, I do not know if I can take this. Twelve Kingdoms why is there no more of you?
Been re-watching Twelve Kingdoms.
I forgot how much I loved the story arc that involves Yoko, Suzu, and Shonkei. I really, really wish there was more of it. This series excels at taking little girls and making them into mature, grown women who are made of awesome. It's got some of the best character development ever.
Why is there no more :(. -
