Had that fasting blood test done today. No food/drink for more than 8 hours, and then a big honkin amount of glucose all at once. As in, they drew blood to get my fasting sugar, and then made me drink a pint of orange liquid that vaguely reminded me of what those little kiddie freezer-pops tasted like when they weren't frozen. And had three times
