So I thought I would send you a message. I haven't been able to sleep for like an hour and a half so I'm reading my South Beach book...lol, am I addicted? My lack of sleep may also be from lack of balenced carbs, I definately haven't gotten the 50-70g I need a day. I've come to the conclusion that I can't do this at school. I need a kitchen and despite what Jamez says, I think it's an amazing program if you really follow it and get away from the fatty meats they serve in the caf. Yeah the first few days of Ph1 sucks, but I've been looking at the recipes and "mealplans" that teach you how to make these great looking omletes, dilled shrimp salad, tons of recipes with seafood (mahi mahi and CRAB!), a (real) chocolate dessert using ricotta cheese, AND (but certainly not least) HUMMUS! Any hummus you would like but in moderation only once or twice a week to trick your metabolism (it's got a good amount of carbs to trick but also the amoutn of protein required for the program ( ... )
