I bought a record player at an estate sale today.  It came with a table with wheels and speakers and she gave us two 45 adapters and some headphones.  Melina broke the headphones when we got home (they were easily 30-40 years old, so it wasn't hard) and the speaker wires were all tangled, so I untangled them and then they didn't work anymore.  And ( Read more... )

Is the needle itself broken or the wiring connected to the needle also ruined?

I know websites like crosley may have the replacement parts for cheap. :)

Either way, it could make for an awesome summer project, Melanie.
