Haven't watched the whole NR movie yet either. Skimming through it somewhat sucked my will to live... May try it again as skimming it when I have no time is not giving a fair shot, but... Yikes...

It is crack. So addictive! I accidentally ate half the bag in one sitting. Goodness me, it simply flew into my mouth. I have no idea what happened, but suddenly, the bag was near empty. Dundundunnnnnn...!

It's... ah. quite suspect. I got to around 14 minutes and then I couldn't do it any more. It was too weird. Oh god, it's like no one in the movie notices that he's a puppet! He's a puppet! And when he eats stuff, he doesn't really eat it! Gah! (/irrational freaking out. The major reason I don't like it, though, is that it doesn't convey the same range of awesome(ness) facial expressions, etc. I wish they just made an anime instead, but this seems to have been a lot cheaper. XD)

You know about the 12 short anime episodes they made, right? They're kinda weird too (and I don't like Taisho's voice) but they're pretty faithful to the manga. They used to be available legally on Crunchyroll but were taken down for some reason.

Oh, no, I didn't. Huh. Interesting. The seiyuu sounds familiar to me, but I haven't seen/heard her in anything apparently... Alphonse's seiyuu is coming to mind for some reason. Anyway, perhaps I shall look into it!
