And if she can't be harmed in the physical world, does that mean the only way to deal with her is to try and take her down in a dream?

More than a theory, I've fought her in a dreamworld once, and so has a friend of mine.

She does, from reports she can take other shapes besides her own in a dream. You have to find which it is.

It sounds like she had almost complete control over what happens in a person's dream. The dreamer has to figure out just what she's doing to them before she strikes. Even if they do realize what she's doing...it doesn't seem like it would be easy to remove her from the dream.

Mostly, I think there are ways around it but, it varies from person to person. The dreamer can find out when she strikes and attempt to turn it aside. ...unfortunately, I'm sorry to say that is a correct thought.

But there's a chance. She doesn't have complete control. You just have to wait for that one moment and take advantage of it.
