Surprise!

Well, it’s been a long time.  I’m quite sure many have forgotten about me, and perhaps that’s just as well as I haven’t been around.  Look at the date of my last post, for heaven’s sake.

My life is a certain degree different from the last time I posted, and it is that difference that drives me largely from internet activity and writing ( ( Read more... )

Oh, I am SO happy that you've posted here again! I remain stubbornly here on lj (my favorite social network) through thick and thin, hoping that somehow people will show up again when real life allows. Because Real Life does this to all of us at various stages -it jsut takes over, and that is that.

It surely does seem that you're in one of Those Phases. And really, how could you not be, with a lively family and tons of work responsibilites? But those are so important, too.

I feel your frustration about the writing. All I can offer is the certainty that the stories will never abandon you; they will wait patiently, fermenting and growing, until you can turn your attention to them again.

Have a great time on vacation. I look forward to seeing the pictures!

I can see you are quite stubborn, and I like your posts.

Yeah, I think you're right about those phases. I just hope I'll get rewarded for all that I've taken on. If January comes and goes and there's still nothing, I'm going to amp up my job search. I can make more money closer to home.

Disney was fun, and I think it might have gotten my juices flowing a bit again (I mean, I could go pretty far with a phrase such as "Dead men tell no tales), but I don't know if I have the time or wherewithall to do anything about it. But we had a GREAT time. I'm considering writing a post about the trip complete with pictures, but don't know how boring that would be for everyone to read.

Yeah, the Dory thing seems to work well, doesn't it?

Thanks!

Good to see you back, even if it's for short breaks from working your a** off.

If you become the maintenance department, let me know - I can always use a third job. :p

I think the maintenance department is taken care of, but I wouldn't be surprised what else I'd get.

This LJ thing, I don't know how long I'll stick with it this round. I mean, it's fun to share and start dialogues, but sometimes it also feels like whoring and imposing on people. Maybe I just can't imagine my life being entertaining enough to bug people about.

Eh.

Good to see you too, Lothi! Dig the icon.
