Usagi only barely managed to keep the frown off her face when Minako-chan introduced Orimoto Satoshi to her. Something about the tall, blue-haired man felt familiar -- but she couldn't place what it was. She'd never seen him before, but there was something about the way he carried himself...

Mamo-chan would probably want to meet him, to decide if he was a threat. Minako-chan clearly didn't think he was, but since her friend knew she was Sailor Venus and could use magic powerful enough to stun, or even destroy a youma, it was best to play it safe.

Satoshi smiled and bowed politely. "A pleasure to meet you, Tsukino-san."

As he straightened, Usagi wondered where she'd heard his voice before.

Lord Wyldon had the healers look the man over; Kel later heard that not only did he show signs of a brawl, he had been trampled by something. He'd been left exhausted, drained of all power, and with badly broken ribs

Mweeheehee! Good jumping-off point for Jadeite, and good jumping-on point for Keladry. I like the point that he looks Japanese except for the golden hair; it is a thing more anime fans would do well to remember.

I especially like how you make him prickly and unpleasant, and how Keladry reacts to him. She can handle him just fiiiiine.

Lark, Niko, and Frostpine wondered why the girls didn't seem to mourn Briar as much as they did Rosethorn, but they said nothing. The concerned and heartbroken Lark kept a close eye on them, however, and suddenly realised that Sandry, Tris, and Daja continued to converse as if Briar was still with them -- with pauses for the boy's input.

Daja greeted her lover with a kiss. "How's business?" she asked, her eyes sparkling.

Rizu smiled brightly in return. "Well enough that I'll be able to repay your loan in full," she said cheerfully. Daja knew better than to argue; she lost the last four on the subject. It was more important to her that Rizu was happy in Emelan.
