Because my brother loaned his to his former roommate.

Okay, fine, so ex-roomie loaned him his own car in return.

But then ex-roomie's car dies, so mine has to be shared.

Ugh. That is beyond rude. You're the big sister, right? You'd better put your foot down. Do you know how many car break ins there are downtown? Or just the parking fees if you get ticketed? He's not treating your property with respect. You could be so screwed if it got stolen.

In fairness, it depends heavily on which street you're parking at and the night. Still, my BFF lives downtown and she's been broken into twice in one year. Crappy car, too. :/
