Song/Zuko; sometimes I'd stay up all night / wishing to God that I was the one who died / sometimes there's not enough time
Song/Jet; "It doesn't matter who my father was. It matters who I remember he was."

Song doesn't elaborate, but Jin starts thinking. She's been safe in Ba Sing Se, after all. But Song's been out in the world.
Jin has seen how high the scars on Song's leg go.

She knew him.
She couldn't not know him.
Even though he wore expensive red robes and a golden crown in his hair, she recognised the distinctive scar splashed across his left eye.
She didn't know the blue-clad man beside him, but the splotches and bumps that came from White Jade poisoning, that she knew.
She glanced from the poisoned man to Lee, and simply asked, "Again?"
Lee flushed nearly as red as his robes.

I've actually already written this, and the other two aren't really speaking to me. I know it's been awhile, but you're free to pick three new ones.

- Song/Long Feng, "honey, I'm putting sedatives into your tea"
- Song/Long Feng, Long Feng explaining how he is all right with Song having affairs as long as she is discreet and he does not expect to father her children, but again, be discreet, and Song being all "my husband is an idiot".

She was not expecting him to offer suggestions -- of other fathers.
"What about the Firelord? He likes you," Long Feng said.
"No," Song said, watching him.
"Or Niran. Niran is very good with women."
"Niran is engaged," she pointed out. "Miss Tian doesn't like him to stray."
"I've heard good things about Xiang if you like a bit of roughness," he tried.
Song stared.
"Kiet, General How's aide, is very discreet."
"You must be the father, Long Feng," she told him. "Not one of your Dai Li, and certainly not the Firelord or the General's aide." She folded her arms across her chest. "You are the cultural minister of Ba Sing Se and head of the Dai Li. We cannot risk my first child looking like another man."

Song, Wild Hunt, There's something sweet and almost kind
Song/Zuko,
I'll give you stars and the moon and a soul to guide you
And a promise I'll never go
I'll give you hope to bring out all the life inside you
And the strength that will help you grow.

Too many people had run afoul of the Fae of late.
In the end, Song ran into the Wild boys completely by accident.
She found the shorter one first, lying unconscious and bleeding beneath a tree.
The taller one found her when she knelt to bind his wounds.
For a moment she feared for her life, but the lightning-eyed boy relaxed when he saw her eyes, and crouched beside her. "Light Fae got 'im," he said gruffly, and Song winced despite herself.
"He'll get better," she said to him, not quite coldly
"Promise?"
Song looked at him again, at the expression on his face, and something in her softened. "Promise," she replied.
