OMG that was amazing. I'm not sure if you made the subject matter fit the song, or the song fit the subject matter, but you blended them perfectly. Even the bits of dialogue you allowed in were perfect. A very striking reminder of why we were scared of this guy!

It was some combination thereof. I wanted to make a Dai Li video, so I opened my X-Ray Dog folder. Strangely, this was the first song I listened to, and it was so perfect I had to use it.

People tend to forget how dangerous Long Feng and the Dai Li were, given the thrashing they received from prodigies.

For some reason I found Long Fend and the Dai Li more terrifying than Firelord Ozai. Perhaps that's why I like this video so much.

It's precisely why I love them so much. :D

(Seriously -- nearly a full third of my fics are Dai Li-centric.)

The Vimeo seems to dislike me, but I downloaded it from the other links- and this is wonderfully timed, very- spare isn't the word for it, but it's not bogged down at all. Just very much on the beat and terrifying in each little flash.

Amen on the dialogue- shines through perfectly.

This is a seriously awesome video! I love the dialogue you included in there, and the song was perfect. It really captures all the reasons why people should be more wary of the Dai Li!
as well as how FIERCE they are cause goddamn
