Speaking as a soprano, yes, yes they frequently are that dumb. And that is all.

(can I be an honorary alto? I used to sing alto I and II back when whackjob chorus teacher was in charge...)

I am well aware that most sopranos seem to only have fluff in their heads. I think it's how they sing the high notes.

(If you can actually HIT Alto I and II notes, by all means, consider yourself an alto! If not, well, you're one of the rare smart sopranos.)

What's the difference between Alto I and Alto II? (I took voice lessons for a year in college, I think I'm an alto even though my instructor forced me to increase my range to soprano, but I still have no idea what the difference is.)
