I am on my mobile right now, and it refuses to load your video or pic, but I think I know what news story prompted this. So, here's a joke:

Knock knock!

Who's there?

Nine-eleven.

Nine-eleven who?

Dammit, Rudy, you said you'd never forget!

It's an animated .gif from 10 Things I Hate About You, when Bianca punches Joey in the face.

And yeah. That is what prompted the post.

May I ask what prompted this?

Rudy Giuliani saying that there were no domestic attacks in the US when Bush was president.

He later retconned this statement, saying he meant that there weren't any AFTER 9/11. Which, as anyone who lived in the Maryland/DC/Virginia area in August-September 2002 knows, is BULLSHIT.

CLEARLY he meant if you don't count any domestic attacks during Bush's presidency, then there were no domestic attacks during Bush's presidency. As a logician, I must concede that this is a valid argument.

Even when Obama's been in office long enough for legitimate gripes (or at least enough to start waving campaign promises in his face), the Right can't stop reading from the 08 campaign script.

Sad really.
