It is called "What does this playlist say about this character?"

You do not need to participated if you don't want to, but I would appreciate thoughts and opinions.

The Rules:

Hmm. Anger, rage, a metric fuckton of guilt, and sort of edging one's way back towards healing at the end. If I didn't know anything at all about this character (and I am pretending as hard as I can that I don't) I'd say he killed somebody. Given the title of his mix, educated guess would indicate his father.

Also, <333333 Rumors of My Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated. That is a fabulous title for a song.

*blinks* You sure you haven't read The Silmarillion? 'Cause this fits almost perfectly the character I usually write… (Of course, I write beyond the end of the book, so not all of what happens in the playlist is canon, but still…)

So, to sum it up: he killed someone, hates himself for it, decides that life is still worth living, and somehow finds healing.

I didn't even finish The Fellowship of the Ring. >.>;; Rafe just kind of evolved as Angsty McSexypants in my head. Or is that Sexy McAngstypants? Somthing like that.

I know, I know-- I was just teasing. (To sum the character up: he swears a really stupid oath that causes him and the rest of his family to kill a bunch of fellow Elves. And Elves don't murder. He and the rest of his family are from then on known as Kinslayers. He's the only one who doesn't die at the end, and he just wanders away never to be heard from again.)

I have fun coming up with nicknames for him. Kat has told me thaht I am to forever refer to him as Rafael "Smacks-People-With-His-Own-Severed-Arm" Thompson, but I'm rather fond of Sexy McAngstypants.

And the extrapolation is good!
