Look at Mowgli-- he came out all right!

Not to mention all the dogs who are currently being RAISED AS HUMANS.

The author doesn't have the humor Sacks does, but it's not a depressing book. Well, the fact that people do such horrible things to children is depressing, but the cases he presents all turn out well- except one. And on that one he was brought in to evaluate, not to treat. So it made me hope that his techniques spread widely in the treatment community.

At least the dogs being raised as humans are frequently better behaved than the humans being raised as humans! lol
