I recommend Lakoff on this subject...'Metaphors We Live By' is the classic, 'Women, Fire, and Dangerous Things' is interesting, and lately he's been doing a bunch of political stuff like 'Don't Think of an Elephant', about how the right is really good at using language to frame the debate and the left has been playing catchup.

So I used Amazon preview, the surprise me feature, and found myself reading about the high use of parable among the Managalese on p 183. My thought instantly went to, wow, it must suck to be an autistic Managalese person.
