Lana stopped by Jim's apartment as they'd arranged yesterday. She was early, as usual. She always seemed to be early when she was nervous. Though she had to admit that this was more a good sort of nervous.

Jim was in the shower when he heard the knock, quickly grabbing a towel and stumbling out into the apartment, wrapping it around his waist. His conversation with Simon and the resultant paperwork had eaten up his time, and she was early anyway. He hoped she wouldn't mind as he answered the door sheepishly. "Hey, Lana. Sorry . . ."

She just stared, swallowing hard and feeling the need and want build up inside her faster than she would have thought possible. Her eyes were wide and dark with arousal. "Jim..."

Jim's pulse sped up at the look in her eyes and he wordlessly stepped back to let her in.

She swallowed hard again and came inside, unable to take her eyes off of him. She'd known he was broader and more muscled than he'd been in high school, but to see it in front of her like this was an entirely different matter.
