Scientist have now been studying and experimenting on prions, which supposedly begin the deathly brain disorder CJD. This disease can be spread to sheep, cattle, and even humans. It starts out as an abandoned strand of protein-like material known as a prion. Then it replicates itself onto a healthy protein transforming it into another fatal copy
