So I tracked down the first episode of the new season of Glee online. Wasn't easy but I managed it. Also, Fran reset halfway through the episode. I'm thinking it was probably a power surge, but I'm worried it might mean something's wrong with my girl; she's been whirring an awful lot during boot-ups recently. I figure I'll ask Dad to check her over

I only name electronic devices, and even then I only name the ones that belong to me. Except my phone, Hanna gave me her old mobile since she was sick of never being able to contact me; so I told her she had the responsibility of naming it. My phone is now Augustus.

Fran was the first electronic device I named though. A few years back now. I'd decided she was female a year before and I'd wanted to name her Frank after the bunny from Donnie Darko; but since she was a girl I dropped the K and now she's Fran. In keeping with the theme I've decided that if I ever buy a laptop I have to name it Balthier :)
