First period was cancelled for 'extended form time' (read: filling in useless forms with Mrs. McGarvie) but we got to spend part of it in a DoE (Duke of Edinburgh) assembly, not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I'm glad they didn't have a Q&A session or I'd have been tempted to ask if robbing a bank counts as Physical Recreation or Skill. Hanna ( Read more... )

See if the library can get the Story to Screenplay version of Brokeback Mountain if all you want is that story. It has the SS, the screenplay, essays by the screenwriters on how and why they adapted the story and by AP on how she came to write it and what it was like "getting movied." It's well worth having if you're writing a fic. It's published in the UK by HarperCollins.
