Uh...I know that I definitely need advice on Kyd's character. >_> So go for it. Negative and positive comments are both appreciated and taken as advice.
Hey! I know that none of my characters interact with Kyd all that much, but I've got quite a few points to make that I hope will help you to improve the way you write him.
► I'm not familiar with Kyd's canon, but I think that it would be a good idea to keep to his set of powers and keep to his personality for a lot longer than you're doing; from post to post, it seems that he's got radically different personalities, even ones that his multiple personality disorder can't explain. Yeah, a lot of these are because of changes in Kyd's environment (becoming a vampire, different teas etc), but once again, it would be better to let characters get used to one of the personalities; I know that I've been confused by Kyd's posts before just because there is so much going on
( ... )
The MPD is mostly from his childhood-trauma, lingering guilt, etc. It will vanish, no worries, over time. I'm trying to keep his main personality here, no others popping out anymore-that's why I have him take pills.
He's really...not seeking attention. It's his way of doing things, since he has to communicate And he failed his sign language class. Horribly..
Lordy, the emo. Yes, I'm trying to keep that down too. Waaaaay down. >_>
And yeah, growing out of the godmodding shit. >_< I'm saving the extra power thing for stories and stuff I put in on Microsoft now-right now, I'm just trying to grow out of my bad habits and keep a straight on personality and stage with Kyd.
Hopefully, I can do a lot later on. Thanks for the advice!
