*claps* Yay Jack! Love Sarah Jane's skepticism of Jack and Torchwood. I can completely see her being a pain in Yvonne Hartman's derriere. *g* This part read like an episode, and an action packed one at that. Jack's timely arrival, the car chase, the three of them crouching in the bushes, in the rain. The pace, the dialog (those little moment of Jack angst and Rose worry) -- I loved every bit of it.

So, I fear I will have to keep with the poking. *pokes* Not that I'm impatient or anything. 'Cause that would be terribly rude... but well... How about bribes? Chocolate? Shameless flattery? *g*

It's a neat idea, how everything's the same but no one remembers why. Jack's still in Cardiff with no Doctor to wait for, and Mickey's still gone without obvious transit to the alternate universe. I can't wait to see where you go with it. :)
