Impossible for what? I think it makes a lot of sense actually.

Well, yes, I understand that the creature brought it up on land but... Well, with a few exceptions there aren't any animals around here.

But does that mean there are no animals anywhere else? It's large enough that I would think it could swim a good distance with hardly any effort. And the reason we have no animals here is probably due to the fact he lives here.
