She spends a few moments trying to get used to suddenly being somewhere else. Thankfully, she isn't motion sick, just surprised. "Is this your h-- oh, the beach!" She runs over to the window to get a better look, the raven on her shoulder forgotten. Orwell flaps his wings several times to keep his balance before giving up and flying over to the couch.
Belatedly she answers Schreber, her gaze still on the beach. "The machine in the Nexus that tells you where you're from said that there aren't any portals to here."

"Ah, oh, no. But we can get in and out with... the PINpoints. Most people here don't... know about the Nexus, and we don't want... them to get lost the way you did." Schreber keeps using his cane even though they are in the house because he is sore from looking for her so long.
"We can go out on... the beach in a minute, if... you want to." He wants to send a couple messages first to say she's found.

His question attracts her attention and she turns back to him, excited. "Can we? What about your leg, are you okay?" Calling her grandparents can wait a little while, especially since there will probably be a spanking by the end of it.
