It has been a strange 48 hours for Harley Quinn. For in that time she had to escape her L.A. home after an apocalyptic battle had taken that dimension, thus leaving behind her husband of barely a year who was one of the chosen heroes to fight for the forces of good. Harley had been injured in the escape, ensuring the protection of her daughter

Schreber and Sarah are not going to let her have to unpack and take care of everything herself! There will be lots of baked goods and other food brought to her as long as she stays nearby, and now Schreber is showing up on the doorstep with a basket of goodies. There's Thorn with him, in case she needs furniture moved or anything else physical that Schrebe is not good at.

It is possible the contents of the basket were a last token in enlisting Thorn's aid. He stands behind the doctor, short enough to hide behind him, studying the ground between his battered boots. Today he wears a sweater but beneath it show coveralls, worn and faded and patched at the knees. His hands are gloved as always, and a tweed cap hides his face from view.

With the sound of someone at the door, Harley turns to greet her guests. She smiles once seeing Daniel, a curious look at the man hiding behind the good doctor.

"Hello." She gives a smile. April coos in her arms.

Sarah arrives not long afterwards, having stayed behind to wrap up a casserole. She waves from behind Thorn. "Settling in?" she asks Harley, before turning her attention towards April.

After just a little bit there's a pinpoint into the corner and Schreber and Thorn show up with a couch. It's a very nice couch, a little bit worn. Schreber knows where the good furniture hides in the Nexus labs. They'll need to go somewhere else for bed and crib but this should give them somewhere to sit for now at least.
Schreber smiles and nods a little and looks to make sure the crying is over.

Thorn fidgets and gives the women a surreptitious glance, likely for the same reason. "W-w-where d'ye w-ant it?" If he was brought along for the express purpose of moving furniture, then move furniture he shall.

"Um," Harley surveyed her living room. "Facing the beach?"

She shakes her head at Sarah. "No no. You go ahead. Just hold the bottle tilted. Besides, she is almost asleep in your arms."

[sarah_branigan]

"That was fast," Sarah comments. She gives the couch a suspicious look. "Did that come from the labs?"

She tilts the bottle as directed and watches April suckle, a soft smile on her face.
