Trick or treat!

There is a flash of light from a PINpoint as this is one of the stops on the Nexus candy hunting map. The arrival is one Jubilation Lee, aka Jubilee. Who stares in aw at the animal decorations before heading to the door.
Tonight Jubes is decked out as Lulu from Final Fantasy. A confusing costume considering that in the Nexus people could actually know a Lulu.

The door opens, revealing Wonder Woman! Or, more likely, someone dressed as Wonder Woman. She smiles at Jubilee, clearly excited to have a trick-or-treater. "Happy Halloween!" She has little goodie bags of treats in front of her, but she'll wait until Jubilee actually says 'trick or treat' before handing one over. It's tradition, dontcha know.

[in_jubilation]

"Hey Wonder Woman! How are you doing?" Jubilee is in good spirits and smiles as she is talking to the famous heroine. "Trick or treat, please?"

[sarah_branigan]

The woman laughs. "I'm fine, thank you." She selects a little package containing a cupcake and some mini candy bars, placing it in Jubilee's pumpkin bucket. "Your costume is beautiful. Who are you dressed as?"

[innocent_june]

June's still wearing her hummingbird costume; now, however, she's also carrying a pumpkin-shaped pail, following tradition. She's also flitting about, looking at all the neat decorations (and waving at the raven, hello~~).

Eventually, of course, she heads for the porch, to see whatever's there. She's also humming some cheerful little ditty that isn't recognizable as anything befitting the holiday.

The raven tilts its head and blinks at June before disappearing behind the window curtain. Moments later, the door opens, revealing Sarah in her costume. "Hi June!" she waves.

"Hi, Miss Sarah! ♪ Happy Halloween! ♥"

She flits around the porch a bit, just plain delighted to see Sarah. ...She'll probably get to the actual business at hand in a moment. Maybe.

Sarah watches June flit around, amused. "Happy Halloween to you, too. How's trick-or-treating so far?" She doesn't mind if June takes a while to actually ask for a treat.

And here comes a Raggedy Ann, with a patchwork-quilt bag swinging along side her. She's grinning, adding real-dimples to the fake ones.

Yays for Melinda! Schreber is dressed as a pirate, with a brown sort of legwarmer thing for a peg leg. The limp makes it look more authentic. See icon for the wig.
"Oh! Happy Halloween!"

Behind Schreber the pirate is Sarah dressed as Wonder Woman. "Happy Halloween, Mel! You look adorable."

"Happy Halloween!" Mel gives Schreber a hug, then goes and gives Sarah one. "Thank you! You look good, Sarah."

Harley arrives later in the evening, dressed as a ladybug. Looks like someone prefered to stick with her red and black favorite colors.

Sarah answers the door, a bowl of candy in her arms. "Harley!" She beams. "Your costume is so cute. Are you trick-or-treating, or do you want to come in? I have mulled cider."

[harley_is_love]

"I was hoping to come in," Harley smiled. "That cider sounds delicious."

[sarah_branigan]

She steps inside so that Harley can come in. "I'll get you a mug. Would you like a pumpkin cupcake, too?" She shuts the door behind her and sets down the bowl of candy. "I don't know how many more trick-or-treaters we're going to get tonight. I'll be glad to get out of this costume."

Oh, look! It's a Raggedy Andy! Gibbs looks a little nervous and tentative, trailing in behind John and Anna, but he smiles at both Sarah and Daniel (he has more smiles for Melinda, but that's to be expected).

John is wearing the same damn fireman costume as last year. Either it means something to him, or he's just not very creative. Maybe both. Anna, on the other hand, has made herself some sort of exotic bird costume. It looks like the hybrid offspring of a peacock and a phoenix, complete with a glimmery half-mask and tail feathers sprouting from her skirt.

That's quite a little procession coming up the street. Sarah grins broadly and waves them over. "Hi! Oh, Anna, your costume is amazing! Hang on, I want to get my camera... Cornelius, get next to Melinda, I'll want to take a picture of you both." She runs off to find her camera. Wonder Woman away!

Schreber is just limping out as Sarah goes past him back into the house and he sort of blinks after her, startled. He is in his pirate costume, with Orwell on his shoulder waving a shiny foil wrapped gold coin. There is a brown sock around his bad leg from knee to ankle for a peg leg but the costume is pretty nice otherwise. His wig dares you to laugh at it. Especially you, John.
